My Story

Only Mel's Designs was founded in June 2020 in the height of a global pandemic. In New York State all activity had come to a standstill except for my creative mind. My objective is to bring beauty to your home and heart one pillow cover at a time. My aesthetic is playing with different textiles such as Mud Cloth, Hmong Indigo Batik, Moroccan all with a bohemian twist and creating the perfect combo to truly be a one-of-a-kind creation. All pillow covers are designed, hand cut, and hand sewed by yours truly.
